This is an previous version!
On th Axion site you will find previous versions of both the plugins Flare Effects as well as Glow.
These versions are made till 1997 and are no longer supported by Axion, but are free downloadable on the Axion site.
To install: download and execute: setup.exe  


Materials  Here

Import your brushes to the PSP brushes folder

Open your fonts and minimize these

Put the Selections in PSP selections folder 

Put your plugins in your PSP plugin folder

Put the pattern in your pattern folder

If necessary reboot PSP

 1/ Put your foreground colour to  #7a5545 - Background colour #bcaeab

2/ Material Properties - Gradient

 

 

3/ File  - New Image

 

 

4/ Flood fill with your gradient

5/ Materials - Swap - put them back to colour - background colour is now your foreground colour



 

6/ Layers - New Layer

7/ Selections - load/save selection - load selection from disk - find Mtm-Ira bordo1

 

8/ Flood fill the selection with your foreground colour

9/ Materials - Pattern -Find Mtm- Ira bordo

 

10/ Layers - new rasterlayer

11/ Selections - load/save selection - load selection from disk - find Mtm-Ira bordo2

19/ Effecten -Axion - Lensflare - Click on: load settings

 

 

20/ Click on:  LW.Lns followed by "open" - hit ok

 

21/ Layers - Blendmode - Multiply - Opacity 100%

 

22/ Change your background colour to white =#ffffff

24/ Layers - New rasterlayer

26/ Flood fill the selection with your gradient

28/ effects - edfe effects - enhance

 

 

29/ Layers  - Blendmode - Hard light - opacity 69 %

 

 

30/ Open your Mtm- Lady Ira Bordo tube 

31/ Edit - Copy

32/ On your working area - paste as a new layer

33/ Move your tube so it touches the bottom edge

34/ Layers - duplicate

35/ Adjust - blur - Gaussian blur - Radius 8

36/ Layers - Arrange - Move down

37/ Activate your upper layer

38/ Layers - new layer

39/ Selections - load/save selection - load selection from disk - find Mtm-Ira bordo5

 

 

40/ Flood fill your selection with your gradient

41/ Selections - deselect

42/ Layers - Duplicate

43/ Image  - Mirror

44/ Layers - Merge - Merge Down

45/ Effects - Edge effect -  enhance  as in step 26

46/ Layers - Blendmode - Hard light - opacity 39 %

47/  Change your foreground colour to    

48/ Layers - new layer

49/ Brush - find Mtm- Ira - Bordo 1

55/ Put your foreground colour to #bcaeab ( Light colour )

58/ Flood fill the selection with your colour

59/ Adjust - Sharness - Sharpen

60/ Selections - Deselect

BEWARE!!!

Depending on the tube you are using this part could be anoying. In that case just remove the square using your freehand selection ==>

 

 

61/ Hide your background colour !!

 

62/ Preset tool - Elipse

 

63/ Start in the left upper corner (watch your rulers)

 

64/ Layers - convert to rasterlayer 

65/ Image - resize -  Notice the cheked boxes!!!

 

66/ Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp mask

 

67/ Selections - load/save selection - load selection from disk - find Mtm-Irabordo7

 

68/ Hit the delete key on your keyboard 

69/ Selections - deselect ( Ctrl +D)

70/ Preset shape - Elipse

71/Draw an elipse, start at 150 width and 220 height, draw your elipse to the left to 380 and a bit outside your working area.

( start at the little black square + the little hand )

 

 

72/ Layers - Convert to raster layer

73/ Layers - merge - merge all (flatten)

74/ Set your foreground colour to black and the background to white

75/ Layers - New layer

76/ Image - rotate right

77/ Text tool - Font Nin-Closure, type your name

 

 

78/ Selections -Load - Save Selection -  Save selection to Alpha Channel - name it - save

 

 

79/ Effects - 3D effects - Dropshadow

 

 

80/ Selections - deselect

81/ Layers - Blendmode - Soft light - Opacity  65%

 

 

82/ Swap your material

 

 

83/ Layers - new layer

84/ Text tool - Font LairieDaSH - Type your name again

 

 

 

85/ Place your name as in the example given:

 

86/ Effects - 3D effects - Dropshadow as in step 76

87/ Stay on this layer!!!!!!

88/ Selections - load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha Channel (your name)

 

89/  Your selection is now upon your previous name, but on the layer where your name is written in black.

 

90/ Now hit the delete key on your keyboard.

91/ You should have this now: ===>

 

 

92/ Selections - Deselect

93/ Image - Rotate Left

94/ Layers - merge - merge down

95/ Depending the size of your name, you can move it

 

 

96/ Swap your colours, black #000000 is your foreground colour now
