In case you want to use your own images, you could colorize. You will have to play with the blendmodes of the different layers.

Should you prefer your own images, they have to be vertical, the size of mine are 209/300 pixels.

Extract your Plug ins in the PSP plugin folder

Extract your selection in your PSP selection folder

Put your presets in the Preset folder

Extract your images to a folder of your choice.

Open your font


This tuturials has several constructed parts:

B/ The Orb- circle

C/ Processing the images

D/ And the actual tutorial


Open your images/ Black smoka background/ make a copy and close the originals.

Put everything aside for a while.
 


The Orb


 


1/ Materials / Foreground colour #2d2d2d / Background colour #808080

2/ Materials / Gradient


3/ File/ New / New Image / Width 30 px/ Height 30 px / Transparant.

4/ Selection Tool( S on your keyboard)
 


5/ Zoom in a lot, e.g. at 500 %

6/ Put your cursor in the centre and draw a circle, as example given

    

7/ Selections/ Load Save Selection / Save selection to Alpha channel and name it. (E.g. Blck Smoka1 )

8/ Flood fill the selection with your gradient.

9/ Selections / Select none.

10/ Materials / Foreground colour #FFFFFF / Background colour #000000

11/ Materials / Gradient / Style Linear /Angle 0 / Repeats 0 / Invert checked


12/ Layers / New Layer

13/ Selections / Load / save Selections / Load selection from Alpha channel

 

 

14/ Flood fill the selection with your gradient

15/ Selections / deselect.

16/ Image / Resize/All Layers UNCHECKED!!!!!

 

17/ Now click with your cursor on the button


 

18/ Click three times on the arrow (up) on your keyboard

 

19/ With every click the smallest circle will go up with one pixel

20/ Change the blendmode to screen

21/ Layers / Merge / Merge visible

22/ You've created your first Orb :))   

23/ Edit / Copy

 


The Orb Circle
 


24/ Image / New / New image/ width - height 400 px / Transparant.

25/ Foreground colour #737373 and hide your background colour

26/ Preset Tool, Ellips ( Q) Preset circle

27/Draw a circle as example given:

28/ Layers / Promote to rasterlayer.

29/ Layers / Merge/ Merge visible

30/ Edit / Paste as a new layer and place as in the example given.

31/ Effects / Simple/ Top Left Mirror

32/ Edit / paste as a new layer ( your little ball - Orb - is still in cache )

move the orb (littel ball) to the right place, as example given


33/ Effects / Simple/ Top Left Mirror

34/ Layers / Merge / merge visible

35/ Save this circle and name it. This Orb circle you will need several times

(So make a number of copy's and put these aside. )


Processing the images
 


36/ Activate one of the three images

37/ Adjust / Hue and saturation / Colorize

38/ Effects / Illumination effects / Lights / presets Mtm-Black smoka

39/ Repeat step 37 - 38. repeat the same procedure with the other two images.

40/ Put these images aside for now.

60/ Type the word BLACK in capitals

67/ Move the word SMOKA to the right bottom as example given

71/ Activate your Smoka2_by_rust2d.jpg

72/ Edit / Copy

73/ Activate your Orb circle

74/ Magic wand

75/ Click in the centre of your Orb circle

76/ Selections / Modify / Expand
 

77/ Layers / New rasterlayer

78/ Layers / Merge / Send to bottom

79/ Edit / Paste into selection

80/ Selection / Deselect

81/ Layers / merge / merge visible

82/ Edit / Copy

83/ Activate your background ==>Black smoka achtergrond.jpg

84/ Edit / Paste as a new layer

85/ Effects / Eye Candy dropshadow as in step[49

86/ Activate your Orb circle => Copy Orb circle


87/ Image / Resize


88/ Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen

89/ Shift +D ( you will need this resized circle twice)

93/ Move your orbcircle with the image to the left

In case you choose to use the script you will have to save the orb throught export as gif. Use dark grey

( as your backroundcolor ) as blend color
